Medical fees:
It is advised to bring 2000 RMB for each applicant.
Payment: via Cash, bank card or Wechat.
Documents:
1. A valid original passport and 1 copy of the photo-page.
2. Interview letter (print or copy) and DS-260 form from the U.S. Consulate General in Guangzhou or the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services or US Embassy Beijing.
Please bring (n+1) copies for (n) applicants in the letter.
Example: 2 copies for 1 applicant.4 copies for 3 applicants.
3.3 photos (50mm×50mm or 2 inch, light background).

4. Applicants with chronic disease, major disorders, history of hospitalization or currently under medical treatment shall provide valid medical record or certificate. (For example: case file, discharge abstract, operation record or pathological report)
5. Applicants shall bring their original vaccination record (if they have) for registration.

Notice:
1. Applicants for medical examination do not need to be fasting.
2. Do not wear contacts for medical examination. If you have any vision problems, please bring your own glasses.
3. Applicants with fever shall postpone health examination and vaccination if possible.
4. Applicants shall get a good rest and avoid alcohol or greasy food two to three days before the examination.
5. Applicants with long-term medication (hypertension, diabetes or cortisone therapy, etc.) shall take a routine dose before the examination. All the medicine currently used shall be brought to the panel physician.
6. Female applicants shall avoid examination during menstrual period if possible.
7. Do not wear any metal accessories during radiology examination.
Medical result:
1. Since November 1, 2021, e-medical applicants will not be provided with paper based report or X-ray CD-ROM. The result will be submitted online. For paper based material applicants, please refer to the reception on the day of medical examination.
2. Applicants will be given a vaccination record for entering the U. S. The record could be delivered by mail or be collected on-site.
Reexamination:
Applicants with abnormal results will be informed by Shanghai International Travel Healthcare Center for reexamination according to the telephone number recorded on the application form. Upon receiving the notice, applicants shall go to the appointed department for reexamination and inquiry within the stated period of time with valid ID.
COVID-19 Vaccination
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requires all IV applicants and K applicants who are referred for a medical exam to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as a part of the medical examination. Unlike other required vaccinations, applicants must complete the entire vaccine series for the medical examination to be considered complete. The new requirements go into effect on October 1, 2021. Your health exam should be at an interval of more than 14 days after completing the whole process of COVID-19 vaccination.
