Notice for New Zealand visa medical examination

    According to New Zealand Ministry of business, innovation & employment, certain applicants applying for studying overseas, visiting relatives, working or immigration to New Zealand shall undergo a medical examination and/or chest X-ray before or during visa interview process.

    Documents:

     

    1. A valid original passport of the applicant and one photocopy of the photo-page and info.-update-page. If the passport has been submitted, a valid original ID card and the copy shall be provided.

     

    2. Medical examination notice from the New Zealand Consulate. Applicants applying for visa through internet shall bring the printed recommendation letter (eMedical letter).

    If you do not have a Consulate notice or eMedical letter, please submit your visa type and intended residence time in New Zealand.

     

    3. Applicants with chronic disease, major disorders, history of hospitalization or currently under medical treatment shall provide the valid medical record or certificate. (For example: case file, discharge abstract, operation record or pathological report) and the prescription list.

     

    4. Applicants under 16 years old shall be accompanied by their legal guardians.

     

    5. Please bring 3000 RMB for each applicant. The cost varies according to exam items.

     

     

     

    Notice

     

    1. Applicants shall make reservation for the medical examination. Please call 8621-62683085 for consultation and appointment. Reservation shall be made at least three days in advance of the examination.

     

    2. Applicants shall get a good rest and avoid alcohol or greasy food before the examination. You do not need to be fasting.

     

    3. If you have any vision problems, please bring your own glasses. Do not wear contacts during medical examination.

     

    4. Female applicants shall avoid examination during menstrual period. The physical check is advised to be arranged three days before or after the period.

     

    5. Applicants with long-term medication (hypertension, diabetes or cortisone therapy, etc.) shall take a routine dose before the examination. All the medicine currently used shall be brought to the panel physician.

     

    6. Applicants with fever or acute infectious disease shall postpone health examination if possible.

     

    7. Do not wear any accessory during examination.

     

    8. The items of health examination depend on the consulate.
